Geography

Geography is the study of Earth and ways people use Earth.  There are five major themes of geography: Location, Place, Human-Environment Interaction, Movement and Regions.  Location describes where something can be found.  Place describes the physical and human characteristics that make a location unique.  Human-Environment Interaction describes how the environment affects people and how people affect the environment.  Movement describes how and why people, goods, information, and ideas move from place to place.  Regions describe places on Earth with similar features.
